Come and join us for a fun, half-day creative art workshop designed to help future artists develop their skills! During the session, we’ll explore a variety of exciting techniques, with hands-on demonstrations and plenty of support throughout. The young artists will have the chance to experiment with new materials and styles, all while building their artistic abilities.
Each workshop is unique—every session will focus on different media, techniques, and famous artists, so if you decide to book more than one workshop, you're young artists will learn something fresh and new. Session 1: Nature-Inspired Art – Drawing and Watercolour In this first session, we’ll explore the beauty of nature by creating nature-inspired drawings and paintings. Using leaves, flowers, and trees as our inspiration, kids will learn basic drawing skills and how to use watercolours to bring their artwork to life. They'll experiment with blending colours and creating textures, while learning how to observe and translate nature into art.
Session 2: Collage and Mixed Media Magic In this session, we’ll dive into the world of collage and mixed media. Kids will be encouraged to think outside the box by combining different materials such as paper, fabric, buttons, and even small objects to create a vibrant, textured piece of art. This session fosters creativity by allowing them to explore various textures and shapes, and it’s a great way to introduce them to the idea of layering in art.
Session 3: Fun with Clay – Creating Sculptures For the final session, we’ll work with clay to create small sculptures! Kids will learn basic hand-building techniques to form their own creative designs, whether it’s a tiny animal, a character, or something completely abstract. They'll get hands-on with shaping and moulding, and once their creations dry, they can paint them to add colour and bring their sculptures to life.
